Our Vision

Our vision is safer communities where survivors are supported, taxpayer resources are spent responsibly, and justice heals instead of harms.

Arizonans for Effective Public Safety is dedicated to building a safer, stronger Arizona by putting people—not broken systems—at the center of public safety. We support survivors of violence and loss through healing-centered resources, community-based advocacy, and restorative spaces that honor grief, resilience, and autonomy.

We work to end wasteful and ineffective policies that drain resources without reducing violence. Instead, we advocate for smart investments in crime labs, cold case units, missing persons resources, and technology upgrades that help deliver real justice for families.

We believe justice should bring healing, not harm. That means prioritizing survivors’ needs over bureaucracy, ensuring all communities have access to support, and redirecting every public safety dollar toward strategies that actually prevent violence, solve cases, and strengthen trust between communities and the systems meant to serve them.

Our vision is an Arizona where survivors are never left behind, where public resources are used wisely, and where true safety is measured by healing, accountability, and community well-being—not by cycles of waste and retribution.
